May We Introduce Ourselves

We are Aquabeds, the waterbed company selling and hiring waterbeds throughout Spain and the UK.

We have been trading in the UK since 1989 and have now brought all our experience of waterbeds to Spain.  We are fully conversed with all types of waterbeds and can offer you a professional service.

Services We Offer

If you are a Removal Company or an existing waterbed owner, at some time you may need to have a waterbed dismantled or erected, we would be only too pleased to offer our services.

In the past we have also been able to rectify problems that people can have with draining and filling waterbeds such as damaged mattresses etc causing unnecessary costs to themselves.

For Those New to Waterbeds

Relax those tired muscles, reduce the tension and join the growing number of people all over the world who indulge themselves in the luxury of waking up on a waterbed, feeling refreshed, warm and wonderful all over.

Whether you live in Spain or the UK, a waterbed is for all seasons.  Cool and relaxed in summer and cosy in the winter, a waterbed is particularly beneficial to sufferers of arthritis and rheumatism, soothing aching joints and backs and improving circulation.

Advantages of a Waterbed Today

Todays waterbeds can offer you important benefits:
* Total body and back support
* Minimal surface pressure for greater comfort
* Improved blood circulation whilst you sleep
* A genuinely hygienic surface
* Controlled sleeping temperature
* Relief from arthritis, rheumatism & backache
* Remarkable durability

These qualities are essential for a superior sleeping environment

Styles of Waterbeds

There are basically two styles; rigid-frame beds and the more modern soft-sided divan beds.

The rigid-frame beds were the original waterbeds. The frame acts as the main support for the vinyl mattress and becomes part of the bedroom furniture. The frame is often made from natural woods such as pine. If you require an oak or cedar wood frame, we can adjust your order accordingly . We can also provide painted MDF (medium density fibreboard) or upholstered boards. The frame usually rests on a deck and plinth which supports the whole of the bed. The depth of mattress within a standard rigid-frame bed is 9" (23cm).

The soft-sided divan beds were developed to fit within existing bedroom furniture.  They look very similar to conventional beds and as their name suggests they have a cushioned surround that allows you to sit comfortably on the edge of the bed.  Modern designs combine comfort, support and hygiene of traditional waterbeds with the convenience and easy bed-making of conventional beds.  The depth of mattress within a standard soft-sided divan bed is 8" (20cm).
